Frankfurt’s former rail freight depot and shunting yard has been redeveloped to form the new “Europa” quarter, an extension of the trade fair complex and the new “Rebstock” quarter.

PROPROJEKT developed an “Integrated Transportation Concept” work schedule as the interfacing operations strategy for all the parties involved in the development, in this way ensuring high-quality infrastructure provision for the entire site. As part of the planning and decision-making processes, a panel of independent experts from the worlds of politics and civic administration was established to provide advice on all relevant issues.

PROPROJEKT structured the overall work schedule and co-ordinated the panel’s activities, commissioned external reports and handled PR. In-between panel meetings, the participants were able to access the latest information on a dedicated internet platform.
