During the Expo 2000 World Fair in Hannover, the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main region was official partner of the Expo 2000 and supported the World Fair in the form of the “Gateway to Expo” project, funded by the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main Business Promotion Initiative.
The Gateway to Expo working party was made up of representatives of tourism, transportation, business and culture, and was supported by additional renowned advocates of the worlds of business and politics. The main objective: to improve the integration of transportation, economy, tourism and culture in the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main.
PROPROJEKT managed the committee office and co-ordinated the working party’s activities, documented the overall process and prepared the working party meetings. To this end, PROPROJEKT CEO Hanskarl Protzmann acted as the external Expo representative for Fraport AG.
